Anderson wanted the victim to draft a statement that violence had not
occurred during the incident, despite the police report that the victim was bruised and had sustained cuts.

Initially, the victim told the police that she did not want to press charges. The officer told her that because she had sustained injuries, it was out of her hands.

The released investigation report also states that the Deputy AD did not report the incident, as required, becsuse the player had entered the portal and was no longer a student at USU.

Anderson and Bovee, decided not to report the incident until they could determine if anything had happened or if the player was a victim of targeting, by the woman.

Once the player entered the portal, they dropped those efforts.

The Deputy AD was asked, by investigators, why the athlete had not been suspended, when he first heard about it. He stated that since Spring practice had ended, so there was no reason to suspend.

Tampering with a witness is a third degree felony, in Utah. I wonder if Anderson will face any charges.
