The statements put out by the B1G and SEC this week are no difference than a coach who is rumored to be a candidate for a top job denying it and saying they are staying right where they are...only to leave next week.

Of course the SEC and B1G are going to deny, deny, deny. They don't want even a hint that they are tampering or colluding. There statements this week were and are completely useless.

All that said, Maybe the B1G does deny FSU and Clemson, if so, it's because they are not AAU, not because they don't add value, they most certainly would to the B1G. And maybe the SEC doesn't add them because they already have a Florida and South Carolina team.
