Clippers get Dunn on a 3 yr $17M deal with the final year a team option.
Jazz get Westbrick on a 1 yr $4M deal, a 2030 2nd round pick swap, $4.3M in cash, and Balsa Koprivica.
Jazz are going to buy out Westbrick. Question: How much do teams typically have to pay a player to buy them out of their contract knowing that they'll sign another contract with another team? Will the Jazz pay the full $4M or something less? I'm thinking it will be somewhat less so that even if Westbrick only signs a vet minimum deal with Denver, he still comes out ahead.
Jazz get some cash and the coveted pick swap for their efforts. 🙂
