Recaps are fine. The worst are trailers or images for the new unwatched episode.
24 used to drive me nuts with a "teaser" image for the episode.
You now knew in advance that Jack Bauer would get out of the predicament he was last in. No way he makes it out of this one. But sure enough, the image shows him escaped, unharmed and off to the next crisis.
