Spent some time up that way the week of the 4th. Hit a rogue river jet boat whitewater tour. Also the Samuel H Boardman
Coast - very scenic (and in the way to the rogue river from Brookings).
If in Crescent City check out the Jedediah Smith Redwoods and then hit a swimming hole in the smith river. Amazingly clear deep water and some cliffs to jump too. Boardmail me for specifics.
