Have a friend with a job opportunity in Shreveport, LA. Would be 2-3 years
And the job would include occasional travel 2-2.5 hours away from Shreveport.
He says he’d be closer to family and the housing is good, but that’s all he knows. He has a young family.
Any info is appreciated.

School age kids? Louisiana Schools would be my biggest concern.

8-14 years old is the range. Are the schools bad? What’s bad about them?

Private schools seem to be more common in LA than in most other states.
