Not even close. Somewhat possible during the prior “BCS” era but nowhere near possible in the NIL/playoff era. New Mexic
will continue to struggle, not because of Bronco but because the rules aren’t setup for programs that nobody cares about to succeed.
Bronco will struggle for 3 straight seasons and will realize that way he did things in 2006 are no longer applicable to the modern era of college football. He will then officially retire from coaching.
