Seriously though with synthetic oil and cars that adjust oil life based on usage and idling and stuff, depending on how
it's implemented it's probably the best way to handle it. I doubt most people think about how much stop and go, high temp and idling they do when they just use the suggested interval from the manual.

Modern cars are so great. All I have to do on mine is hit the reset button and my oil life goes back to 100%.
