about the teams, the league or any other player which I think is a very strange phenomenon. I think it's remarkable how a person can get so much attention for playing a sport that wasn't all that popular to begin with which I guess goes to show how much she stands out among other players. I can't think of any other example of this happening but there might be a lot of other factors involved that make her story unique as well.

I call women's basketball a different sport because I believe it pretty much is, as men are not allowed to compete. I feel like it would be comparable to to something like a college or pro Lacrosse player making national headlines constantly and being the subject of sports radio talk shows all the time, maybe not that extreme but something to that effect.
