At my last job, I started working at a clinic that was attached to a hospital complex. I had to park out in general parking, which was maybe a 5 minute walk. There was a huge indoor parking complex, but in order to park there, I had to be affiliated with the hospital.
I think I spent 2 full days getting signatures and filling out paperwork just so I could become affiliated with the hospital. My official role was to be listed on an emergency list for calls during mass casualty events.
After a couple weeks of processing, I was finally able to park in the covered lot. There was also an unknown perk. As a member, I could dine for free in their cafe. It was actually a really nice place with a sandwich counter, a hot grill, a pizza station, soup/salad, and drinks/snacks.
It lasted 1.5 years and it was the greatest perk I ever received as a doctor.
