That could happen in 5 minutes or 5 hours, depending on how lazy or ambitious we mods happen to be feeling that day.

Ideally, we would jump right on that as soon as it appears in the queue, but often it's more of a task one of us handles when we get the chance. I feel like we ought to be more prompt about that, and I understand the frustration when your post sits for a long time before actually appearing on the board (especially if it's the start of a new thread). But we are volunteers with day jobs, so it is what it is.
