Darth Plagueis and Darth Sidious tried creating the perfect dark force user. Something similar to what has happened in the Acolyte with the twins. They could not figure it out. And the Force in reaction to Darth Plagueis created Anakin who was the chosen one to bring balance.

Acolyte changes what the Force really is. This one is meh, but they change it to a "Thread" Doesn't really make sense and it changes what George has always said about the Force.

Ki-Adi-Mundi showing up in the Acolyte and hiding to the counsel that there is a dark force user killing Jedi... just seems odd. Not to mention Ki-Adi-Mundi isn't even suppose to be alive during the Acolyte. If you don't know who Ki-Adi-Mundi is... he is the Jedi in the Phantom Menace that says "But the Sith have been extinct for a Millennium"
