Some friends and I are looking to do a hike in late August. I've done Timp before but the consensus is to do something slightly less difficult. We're all in our late 30s and decent shape (I'm probably the most out of shape but am doing a bit of hiking leading up to it this summer). We want to be done in less than 8 hours at a normal pace but still want to get a good payoff with a view. Thoughts on any of the following:
Lake Blanche in Big Cottonwood Canyon
Mt. Wolverine Loop
Mt. Nebo Trail
Red Pine Trail
Any others you'd consider that are in the same general vicinity (SLC or Utah County)
