My GM let me down again. I'm at the airport parking lot at like 3:30am for a
5:30am flight and I turn my truck off and the radiator fan is just screaming at full throttle. I'm a little bewildered because I've owned this truck for 10 years and it's never done this before. The shuttle is right there to pick me up and the driver is like "sir you left your truck on." I'm like what do I do? Everyone on the shuttle is looking at me like I'm a complete moron.

I just hop on the shuttle hoping that the fan is on some sort of timer. One guy on the shuttle is like "you should have disconnected your battery." He was probably right. Luckily as I'm googling, it turns out this a known issue for my truck and is a super easy DIY fix (simple t-stat and t-stat sensor replacement is all it takes). I can't think of a worse time for a vehicle to do something like that, just my luck.
