Florida State to reduce stadium capacity.
The Doak Campbell stadium capacity is 80,000 but FSU no longer comes close to filling it.
The decision to reduce capacity to the high 60,000s or low 70,000s. This year, construction will limit seating to approximately 55,000.
The news of downsizing has bern met with anger from some decades-long season ticket holders whose seats will disappear after the renovation is complete.
