I missed this tweet from Criddle last night - he's cites the 247 article from June 13th.
I LOVE AJ's top 2 priorities for choosing a school. Unfortunately #3 is a bit tougher for us given our historical struggles in March...
Also, AJ said he's going to narrow down his field of 30 offers to 6-7 schools in the September / October time frame so that will be the next big test for BYU. Said that he has 30+ offers and that his Dad handles all his recruitment:
The #1 Basketball recruit in the country (AJ Dybantsa) has a 3 pillar approach when it comes to choosing his next school:
1. Family Oriented
2. NBA Development
3. Wants to win a National Championship
"Obviously, I want a coach that's going to pursue hard," he said. "My pillars are family oriented, development and a strength program that'll help me get to the league for the 9 months I'll be there. I also want to join a winning organization. I want to go somewhere to win a national championship, so I don't want to go and lose."
BYU’s chances of getting an official visit from AJ are surprisingly, higher than expected… and if BYU gets an official visit… they could have a fighting chance if you’d like to put on some royal blue goggles with me..
