All of Us Strangers = a bit overrated
About a gay writer in London who starts a relationship with another guy (the only other person?) living in his liminally-vibed apartment building, while also going to his childhood home to spend time with the ghosts of his parents, who died when he was 12. He comes out to them, they struggle with it, etc. Really about his attempts to free himself of the past and develop the strength to move forward.

Beautifully acted but very sad and lonely. Like a depressing take on Domhnall Gleeson's final visits to his dad in About Time.

Very well made, ending that will make you think, but probably too sad and depressing (though hopeful in some ways) to recommend.
