I’m sure they do, but I assume it is very lopsided in the ski resorts, so locals probably benefit the most from employment opportunities within the resorts and supporting food and beverage locations and hotels. However, the ski resorts love to sponsor intl employees’ visa to reduce payroll, so maybe locals don’t benefit as much as we think.
I’m sure the state makes quite a bit in taxing the resorts profits.
