So... basketball has gotten easier to score as people get taller and stronger...

Baseball has gotten harder as pitchers get faster and stronger

Football can adjust the rules to make it a bit easier to score and balance offense and defense

Soccer definitely seems to be getting harder and harder to score as goalies get bigger and stronger

I do think if soccer could make it a bit easier to score that would help a lot of things ... Penalties would be be less definitive to the outcome.
