USAF pilot here. I’d say both are pretty comparable. I’ve switched to the Air
National Guard and we have pilots who have come from all branches of the service in my unit. All are good options. Landing on a carrier is certainly challenging but there is little to no cross wind.

USN/USMC flying is more lax with far less regulations while USAF training has a large amount of regulations and is more restrictive.

Blue angels put on a better show than the thunderbirds but both are awesome. Their performances reflect each branch of service. Blue angels fly closer (less restrictive) than the thunderbirds (more restrictions in the USAF). Both are very talented.

In regards to foreigners, the Dutch are very talented.
