Planning out a trip to Italy in the Spring. Plan is to fly into Milan, catch a AC Milan game then travel down (stopping places along the way) then fly home out from Rome. Last time we went to London and France we traveled via train & Subways but with suitcases (wife packs a bit) it was a Hassel carrying it all. In a US renting a car for city to city travel would be a no brainer but I've been told to avoid renting a car... thoughts?
