Animals and bugs. Deer, skunks, racoons, squirrels, possums, ticks, fleas, ants, chiggers, snakes, the list goes on. I actually think the deer bring a lot of pests because they are always walking around our front and backyard.

Maybe it wasn't chiggers, but whatever it was gave me the worst itchy bites I've ever had.

We live in a rural community, on the edge of town up against a forest. I wouldn't say our neighborhood is anything special by CBer standards, but it certainly isn't the low income part of town.
