Funny how some cars are instant classics while most go through an unappreciated stage before becoming cool again, if they ever do
Lately, an example of that for me is the Trans-Am. Obviously in 70s they were cool thanks to Smoky and the Bandit, etc. but there was a long time where the Trans Am was basically the punchline of a joke.
I've started to see them around again, and I have to admit that they are pretty cool - still over the top - but I can appreciate that now that they are 'vintage.'
