1. While it's true that I could get protein from nuts, I'd also have to consume nearly four times as many calories (My preferred protein bar has 21g protein and 130 calories; 3 ounces of peanuts has 21g protein and 483 calories.)
2. Surprise! The doc from India doesn't eat steaks or hamburgers. Must be hard. But seriously, it's just too easy for some people who are naturally disinclined to eat certain foods to tell others that they should also "just stop eating" those foods. Would there be health benefits? Yes. Would there also be a distinct loss of quality of life? Yes.
