I remember Canada having a decent soccer team back in my youth, in the ‘86 World
Cup (at least they made it to that World Cup, although they didn’t do well in it). At one point in the late ‘70s and ‘80s, they were consistently better than the US. Then they sucked for 3+ decades, before improving again in time for the 2022 World Cup. Not sure what happened to them in the interim.
