At her father's funeral she found out she had 50 siblings from various women in the northern Florida town (Pensacola, FL) where she grew up. They didn't know about all of them until the father died and all these people came out of the woodwork for the funeral. My friend grew up in her "family" of 15 kids and they were dirt poor. Small, small house. It was amazing to hear her describe it. Also - she grew up with in the same neighborhood as the Dallas Cowboys' running back Emmitt Smith.
