NBA contracts make zero sense to me. Franz Wagner just signed for 5 years/$224 million, which is $44.8 million/year
Patrick Mahomes’ contract averages out to $45 million a year. Josh Allen, Dak, and Stafford all make less than that.
Wagner’s APY is more than every non QB in the NFL. I understand there are fewer NBA players on a team and all that, but it just blows my mind.
