All this talk about Bronny James is weird. Every team makes decision that they feel affect their positively. If they see him as being worth just under $2 Million a year, awesome. They will easily make it back in jersey sales and other marketing campaigns, which have already been a top seller this season.
I personally am interested to see how he does. Coming out of high school, Bronny James was a big name in his own right, before is cardiac incident, which nearly killed him. Nobody really knows how good he is, because he probably should have played another year of college ball, to actually play, since he is barely a year from having to be brought back from cardiac arrest. If the Lakers feel he is with that investment, and he turned into even a role player, that investment is pretty smart. They spend more money on 1st ring picks and vet minimum guys, who never work out.
