They are just blowing out their ACLs, getting concussions, breaking arms etc. I personally don't know anyone
who was actually seriously injured from fireworks but I personally had 5 close acquaintances have serious long lasting injuries in basic park activities in the last few months. I also have a friend whose son is now on year 2 of surgeries on a broken ankle from 12 year youth football.
