Pain got progressively worse over about 2 years until I finally got it formally diagnosed. MRI showed a torn labrum and surgery to repair it. Still going strong 15 years later

Does it radiate from your hip to your groin? If so it could be your hip labrum

Unless you have ruled out labrum i would not exclude it. The outside of my hip wasn't an issue, but the groin/crotch
