If your kids will be into it? And not tied up with extracurriculars all the time and if you have a job that’d let you go enough…then boats ar incredible.

But I know a lot of people who bought very expensive boats (which depreciate of course) and only use em once a month for the summer months. So they are paying a lot of money for 3/4 days of fun a year. You could rent a nice boat for a lot less for that amount of use.
