I'm similar, and my younger kids will have a very different experience. However,
the older ones had more uninterrupted parent time, and due to school and job changes they got to travel (road trip) more than the others ever will, to the tune of 44 states for my fifteen year old. The older ones will have a broader perspective on some things than the younger ones.
