Yes - there are numerous springs all over central florida that flow millions of
Gallons a day out into the local streams and rivers reaching both the Atlantic and gulf. I assume that most of the water across the state is pulled from those aquifers.

However those aquifers get replenished by the rain water that seeps back through tne ground.

Most of the ponds and lakes are used to water lawns.
