They take years and years of cautious practice to perform. We can't do them because we don't undertake the training required to perform them.
However, most of us if we trained when young could learn to do many of the basic gymnastic moves. We've all learned a sommersault, cartwheels, and even back flips. And we probably all circled a high bar.
Whereas many of the track moves are moves we use in other activities.
I would equate the difficulty of gymnastic moves as similar to playing the piano. I can't play the piano one bit and if you asked any of us who didn't train hours and hours for years to play advanced pieces, it would be a skill set beyond me.
But if you had someone who took vocal lessons, played the guitar, trumpet, clarinet and harp, would you say the person who played the piano as the best musician over the other person?
