Yeah if my net worth was equal to LeBron, than I'd totally be a resource to help my kids, however only after they have
Proven that they are capable in the area in which they would want my help. If my son was good enough to start for a city college or a small conference team, but not NBA level, I'm not creating a seat for him at that table. If he insists on playing pro ball, I'd get him tryouts with Euro teams to see if he's even good enough to play there. If he stumbles and is lost on the bench with few minutes if any, I'd wait until he hangs it up and then have a talk about his other passions, or other aspects of his passion for basketball.

So many ways to help him without creating something that imo serves noone other than myself (ego)
