city celebrations in Lander and Riverton. We have a parade and shops in the park all day. Around 6 we all head over to the Rec. Center for fundraising Smoked Dinner and fund raising auction. Then as it starts to get dark the fireworks start. In Wyoming we know how to do fireworks. Not only is there a pretty top notch town firework show, but the whole town buys their own fireworks. I spent around 200 on an amazing set of 24 mortars and a bunch of other arial displays. Cars from other communities fill up our little town and even line up on the highway coming into town. Oh boy. It is a great day to be an American in a kind of weird, but pretty great community.
