I wasn't a wrestler but my oldest son was
I played football, basketball, and ran track in HS. Loved them all. Played tons of other sports too but I was ignorant of wrestling as a kid.
Fast forward, we got our oldest son into wrestling around the 4th grade and he wrestled all through HS. What an incredible sport. No doubt, wrestling has to be one of, if not the toughest sport out there. Mentally, physically...not much compares.
