That is what Nicholson heavily implied. The shills gave good reviews "for being
worth it" in order to maintain their good standing with Disney, to keep getting good access and views. This of course, gives the influencers more money.
Apparently, some of the shills/influencers were also travel agents and made money on commissions, so they were double dipping.
