Do players still care about scholarships if they get paid to make up for it?
For example, if a transfer comes in and BYU says, “technically we’re out of scholarships, but no worries, we’ll pay for your tuition and costs anyway with extra NIL in addition whatever NIL you would normal agree to.”
At that point do scholarships even matter?
