Cost is negligible but my kids and I enjoy going to a new city and staying in
A residential area and get a feeling for the city instead of in an area of hotels.
Last summer my son and I went to NYC for his birthday for a Mets game. I’ve been to NYC 50+ times and he’s been 5 times or so. We stayed in an AirBnb in Queens and it was a lot of fun.
Got a good feeling of those around us and had a blast. Walked to and from Citi. Ate food from some food trucks and people selling food from a cart outside their house. I love staying in Manhattan but this much better
