My son had a similar story. Worked hard this past semester and got a 4.0. It helped that he was able to get his 16 credits of Spanish as well. Applied again a few weeks ago and was accepted a week and a half ago. He doesn't show emotion often but was in tears as he gave me the news over the phone. I may have shed a tear or two as well.
