It does appear that basketball is doing better, but hard to say. BYU is behind in facilities and overall staff due to the sub p5 contract they had as an independent. Donors still need to help the program catch up with needs outside of NIL for additional players. For years teams have poured money into facilities and staff to build up the program, so BYU is quite behind and it will take some time to catch up, especially for football.
