rated for snow. Haven't tried them in snow yet but they're fine all all season tires. I also had the predecessor for the Yokohama tire you're looking at. It was just as good as any other all season tire. Just don't go thinking you'll get 70K miles from them (like any other tire take the mileage warranty and divide it in half for a realistic expectation)
