Moody and Payton to make salaries work. Where would they finish in the WC after adding Markkanen?

C - Green, Looney, Post
PF - Markkanen, Jackson-Davis
SF - Kuminga
SG - Wiggins, Melton
PG - Curry

Two questions after seeing that roster:

1) If they are making an all-in (relatively speaking) move to try to give Curry on more shot, wouldn't Podz and Moody balance out that roster more if the choice is sending out Kuminga OR Podz + Moody? Maybe they move Looney and keep Payton instead, but then they get really small.

2) Assuming they can round it out even with best case scenarios on exceptions and minimum contracts, would that team finish above 7th in the west?
