If you're doing the Road to Hana, eat at Thai food by Pranee in Hana. Preferably, stay a few nights in Hana. Hamoa Beach was great to stay and chill for most of the day. I wish we had stayed in Hana most of the trip but it's so pricy.

Halekeala sunrise was fine. I could have skipped that.

Good snorkeling at Honolua Bay but you have to swim out a long ways to get to it.

Spend quite a bit of time at Po'olenalena beach. Not too busy. Close to where we were staying. Good snorkeling area just south of the coast of the resort.
