My son hired a moving company to help move from Idaho to Galveston, TX. Scheduled 4 months in advance with a $1k deposit.

The morning of the move they call and say the truck is not running and they can't move for a few weeks.... maybe. We have no choice but to rent a u-haul and move ourselves as they cant sit in their new apt for a month with nothing.

We called about the deposit and they say they already spent it.
