The lamb stew was on the gamey side. I ate hákarl and it was more of something to say that I've now eaten, but didn't exactly love it. Their hot dogs are unique but not so amazing that I'm craving to go back and eat them again.

You'll be going for the scenery and the views will be absolutely spectacular. I was there for a week and definitely want to go back again.

Bring a good rain jacket and waterproof shoes or boots. I have waterproof boots and waterproof trail shoes and was very glad I brought both.
