I've had my share of incidents over the years. I could tell all the stories you've heard before about player/coach/fan misbehavior.

But I've never had a moment where I wouldn't go through the formality of a "good game" handshake or fist bump.

A referee who internalizes things that personally in the moment can't be trusted in the big games, IMO. I'll normally take the refs' side probably 90% of the time. Even when they miss stuff, there's always two sides to it. But the post-game clip was all I needed to see to believe that Kevin Ortega shouldn't be on the FIFA list.
