Just checked the 2023 Worlds schedule for the Steeplechase and compared it to the Paris Olympics schedule.
Last year at Worlds the Men’s Steeplechase was run on August 19th and 22nd.
In Paris the Men’s Steeplechase will be run on August 5th and 7th.
Hopefully, James is able to get some good rest after Paris, but I have to imagine he will be locked and loaded for Nuttycombe and beyond.
