I just replaced my roof for hail damage this year
My roofing company offered to not replace the gutters and use that to cover the deductible. I didn’t go for it. They did all the work, turned out great, the company has a ton of great reviews here in CO.
But it is illegal, at least here in CO, for them to waive it. Still common for a company to offer though as I’m not sure how prosecuted it is.
